The creation of the district Mala is behind the resort of Cap d'Ail. Its development began in 1879 thanks to the initiative of a bold financier, Baron Pauville who convinced the tourist potential of the place, recently passed by the national rail network and attached to the road, decided to launch in 1880, a large real estate transaction. The set consists of a proposed subdivision and a hotel designed to accommodate a wealthy winter customers prefer to stay quiet while enjoying the entertainment offered by the large neighboring resorts of Nice and Monaco.
Known area of Cap d'Ail, La Mala is al once an idyllic beach nestled in a cove with crystal clear water and two private beaches are installed with a dream for yacht owners and residential area of the city.
